Tom Zuber facilitates collaboration among his colleagues and assists them with growing client relationships. Mr. Zuber also manages intellectual property disputes and deals around the world, and counsels clients in relation to global intellectual property portfolios. He personally manages relationships with more than 10 of the firm’s Fortune clients, as well as funds and government entities. He also represents leading companies in emerging industries and technologies, including legalized cannabis, blockchain, and eSports. With his brother Jeff Zuber, Mr. Zuber founded Zuber & Zuber, now Zuber Lawler, in 2003 as a 3rd‐year associate with no clients. As Managing Partner, Mr. Zuber has managed ZL’s growth from 2 attorneys working out of a Los Angeles domestic kitchen to a top law firm with some 40 attorneys representing clients throughout the world from offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Silicon Valley.
In addition to cannabis law, blockchain and e-sports litigation, Tom Zuber has abundant experience in the intellectual property sector. Prior to founding Zuber Lawler, Mr. Zuber practiced in the Intellectual Property Litigation Department of the New York office of White & Case LLP, and then in the Intellectual Property Litigation Department of the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
