Zuber Lawler Earns a Top 5 Spot in Law360’s 2024 Diversity Snapshot Survey, Measuring Diversity Amongst Equity Partners at U.S. Law Firms

July 31, 2024 | Press

Zuber Lawler is proud to announce that it has earned a top-five spot in Law360’s 2024 Diversity Snapshot, which measures diversity in the equity ranks of law firms across the country. Zuber Lawler also ranked in the top-five of all firms with 100 or fewer attorneys participating in the survey nationwide based on the diversity of all partners and associates.

The 2024 law firm survey reveals progress has slowed in diversifying attorney ranks, with only 15.6% of firms meeting diversity benchmarks. In 2023, the law firm survey revealed that 17% of firms had met diversity targets. By comparison, the majority of the occupants of Zuber Lawler’s leadership posts throughout the firm are likewise minorities.

“We are pleased again this year that Zuber Lawler is in the top-five in two categories in the Diversity Snapshot survey with firms of less than 100 attorneys. Holding the number two spot for the diverse number of equity partners and number five of all firms based on the number of partners and associates that participated in the survey.” stated Eileen Letts, the Chicago-based Chief Administrative Partner of the firm. “Our firm takes pride in its diverse workforce. We will continue to be a place where diversity is welcomed, as we all benefit.”

Zuber Lawler’s commitment to diversity is enhanced with the help of Ms. Letts, who is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). Ms. Letts also co-authored the acclaimed book “Left Out and Left Behind,” organized by the Long-Term Careers for Women in Law Initiative and published by the American Bar Association.
